Our campsite is on the outskirts of a town called Bressuire in the Deux-Sevres department of the Poitou-Charentes. We purchased the campsite in 2003 and although it was in need of complete renovation we fell in love with it. A hidden paradise surrounded by mature trees such as Oaks, Acacia, Box Elder and Pine. We also have an abundance of wildlife which include Red Squirrels and bird life such as Tree Creepers, Golden Orioles and Hoopoe.

All pitches have electric and drinking water points close by. We have made huge investments and have a beautiful swimming pool, three timber chalets and a children’s play area. The campsite is just the right size for a couple to manage without employing other people.

We are only a few minutes drive from the 1000 year old Medieval town of Bressuire. The town is the capital of the Bocage region and has a population of nearly 20,000. It has all the necessary shops, restaurants, doctors and a general hospital. The town has a very good reputation for its schools. We are also well located for France's second biggest attraction, le Puy Du Fou. This brings a lot of people to the area together with the Loire valley, Le Marais Poitevin and Futuroscope to name a few.

The three chalets are not only used by people in the summer but also for guests for weddings/ anniversaries etc. out of season. The English style toilet block and laundry are on mains sewage ( no problems with septic tanks etc).We receive people from many countries. Approximately 60% are British and 35% are French with Dutch, German and Italian making up the rest.

Ideally located as its not too far for tourists to travel ie 3.5 hours from St. Malo or 5 hours from Cherbourg & Le Havre.
